Glass Bulletin Awards 2016

New Delhi, August 3, 2016: Glass Bulletin, one of India’s premier and widely read quarterly  magazine for the global Glass industry, announces the launch of the first of its kind Glass Bulletin Awards 2016 at this august function this day, the 3rd of August, 2016. The Glass Bulletin Awards 2016 will be presented to the outstanding players of India’s Glass Industry in various categories during a gala night at NSCI (National Sports Club of India) in New Delhi on the 8th of December, 2016.

This day, the 3rd of August, 2016, marks the curtain-raiser to the finale of the Glass Bulletin Awards 2016 ceremony on the 8th of December, 2016.

At this Curtain-raiser today, we at the Glass Bulletin are pleased to announce before the distinguished audience that the upcoming Glass Bulletin Awards are open to all Glass manufacturers, processors, dealers and young entrepreneurs associated with the glass industry across the length and breadth of the country. What has culminated in the launch of these Awards, which will be presented annually henceforth, is Glass Bulletin’s long, fruitful association as an innovative media platform for the Indian glass fraternity in particular and the global glass manufacturers and innovators in general. Glass Bulletin’s endeavour has always been to be a vibrant, interactive media interface for the Glass industry across the various verticals in India and its counterpart abroad.

It will be first time in India that the entire Glass industry comes under one roof at Glass Bulletin Awards 2016 of which this gathering here today is the precursor.

The Jury for Glass Bulletin Awards 2016 comprises Indian Glass industry’s ‘Who is Who’ and the process for awarding the best in the industry will be transparent and solely based on merit and contribution to industry and business.

The Aims and Objectives of the Glass Bulletin Awards 2016 include, among other things:

  1. Recognizing the talent for outstanding contribution to the field of glass manufacturing machinery, processing technology, product enhancement, best business practices, entrepreneurship, business leadership, etc
  2. Enhancing the scope for business interaction and expansion.
  3. Exchange of innovative ideas and processes in the field of manufacturing and processing glass to its final destination to the end-user.
  4. Expanding the arc of reach to new customers.
  5. Provision of a viable platform for new business ideas and schemes.
